Please arrive in the Stonegate parking lot at 7:00 am to caravan to Tallyho together. Note that I said "caravan" and "together"; not "race" and "leaving the other cars behind". Yes, I'm a grumpy old man. Tallyho's address is 8650 Bells Mill Road in Potomac.

...not much, as it turns out. Three (3) more Timers. And 1-2 Automation helpers. Those of you in the WhatsApp group have already heard my sales pitch on this, but the Automation helpers** get to sit in the shade. No experience necessary. You circle middle times and proof-read results.

** You will sometimes see these jobs referred to as "Scorer" and "Verifier", because that is what the League calls them in its handbook(s). I do not know why they choose to use words that are confusing and misleading rather than other words (like "helper" or "assistant") that might be inviting and helpful. Grumpy. Old. Man.

• Blue vs. White Meet on Wednesday, July 17

Our Wednesday schedule concludes with the spirited Blue vs. White Meet. For this one, we are the home team and the visiting team, which means there are lots of volunteer slots to fill. This is your chance to try something new. Or, if you prefer, polish your skills at a task with which you are familiar. Any/all training can be provided prior to the meet.
